"Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands." Psalms 102:25 KJV
My first successful, full narrowband shot! I had to wait a long time to finish collecting the data as life and clouds have not let me get out nearly as much as I would have liked. But this photo is by far my favorite one yet. I'm getting hooked on narrowband imaging. Total exposure time is around 9 hours. I didn't keep track of the processing steps, so there's no workflow to post with this. But, I did use the RCAstro suite of tools, BlurX, NoiseX, and StarX. I assigned each filter to the Hubble Pallett of SHO but used a combination of Photoshop's channel mixer and HSL to change the color balance to more of a Forrax-type Pallett. Also, I started playing around with J-P Metsavainio's tone mapping method of color combination. I still have plenty to learn, but this technique is really powerful. Calibrated and partly processed in PixInsight Finished in Photoshop
